2022 CIDEE Focus | China Energy Saving Automobile Development Report 2022 Released

As one of the highlights of the 2022 CIDEE, the 2022 Intelligent New Energy Vehicle Safety Development Forum, hosted by the Organizing Committee of the China International Digital Economy Expo and co-organized by China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. and China Automotive Informatization Promotion Industry Alliance, was held on Nov. 17. With the theme of safe smart travel and linkage to the future, this forum gathered top experts, scholars and enterprise executives in the automotive industry to share cutting-edge technologies and latest developments in the automotive industry and jointly discuss the high-quality development direction of future intelligent new energy vehicles.

Guo Shougang, Deputy Director of the First Equipment Industry Division of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Wang Ning, President of China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, and Fu Bingfeng, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of China Automobile Industry Association addressed the conference.

Foreign academician of Russian Academy of Engineering, chief scientist of national key projects, Professor Bai Jie of Zhejiang University City College, and Hu Jinling, chief expert of Internet of Vehicles of Datang Gaohong Network Technology Co., Ltd., respectively delivered a theme report of Key Technologies and Industrialization of Intelligent Driving and Development of C-V2X Enabling Intelligent Connected Vehicles. Li Jinsong, the chief expert of TUV vehicle safety in Germany, gave a detailed interpretation of the Compulsory Certification Strategy of European Vehicle Network Safety Regulations.

Jiang Jiuchun, General Manager of Xinwangda Li'an Company and Chief Expert of the New Energy Research Institute of Beijing Institute of Technology, Li Jianhua, Chairman of Beijing Yizhi Times Technology Co., Ltd., Zhu Xichan, Director of the Automotive Safety Research Institute of Tongji University, and other guests made keynote speeches and industry discussions around hot topics such as intelligent networked new energy vehicles, automotive data, new infrastructure, smart travel, and automotive safety.

At the same time, the Forum released the China's Energy Saving Vehicles Development Report 2022. Focusing on the hot spots in the industry, the report comprehensively discusses the current situation and trend of the development of automotive energy-saving technology at home and abroad, systematically combs the development situation of the domestic and foreign automotive industry, analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by the development of energy-saving vehicles in China in detail, and puts forward constructive suggestions for the green and low-carbon development of the automotive industry.

Under the background of the national double carbon strategic objectives and action plans, carbon emission reduction in the transportation field is particularly important. The release of the energy-saving automobile blue book aims to further promote the application of automobile energy-saving technology, continuously optimize the automobile industry structure, comprehensively promote green low-carbon technology, and build a new development pattern of the automobile industry.
